This is the website of the Pollindust research project, dedicated to the study of the composition, sources and multi-decadal evolution of the dust and particulate pollutants observed in the subtropical Saharan Air Layer.

The Pollindust project involves scientists from the Izaña Atmospheric Research Center (AEMET, Spain), the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) (Spain), the Goddard Institute for Space Studies (NASA, USA), and the Universidad de La Laguna (Spain).

The Spanish Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad provides financial support to the Pollindust project through grant no. CGL2011-26259.
